Dave,

If you have a Flickr account or a Picasa web account - both are popular places where people can upload pictures - you can then come back here and provide a link to your photo. If you don't have such an account, you may want to set one up. They're free, and they provide good ways to share photos with your friends as well as to use in cases like this. Good luck and I hope to see you back here with a link!

Hello Katona,

Leaves move water, nutrients, and other materials through tiny tubes that we call veins. In this way plants provide the supplies they need for photosynthesis and growth to each and every cell in the leaf. The pattern of veins in a leaf is called leaf venation.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
I just wanted to tell you this is great information. I am a Flower Essence Practioner and study plants on Vancouver Island, but I am not a botanist so for me to have this information handy is great. My friend and I have written one book called Nettles and More about the herbal and flower essence use of plants in the Pacific Northwest and we are working on a second one. I am going to print this off to have it with me in the field...for confirmation.
Thanks alot for taking the time to compile this information in such a good format.
