I always have had a deep need to understand plants. Mostly I am a fair weather gardener and plant lover = flower oogler. I love my weeds (which makes gardening an interesting process) and about 12 years ago started making simple plant medicines (it is easier to weed if I am "harvesting"). Now I am finding myself being sucked down a rabbit hole known as Western Herbalism. Thank you for this blog. It is proving helpful, especially in helping me know how to start with all the botanical terminology. It is encouraging to note how much I have picked up in the last decade guided only by a hobby interest. Tally ho into the great green kingdom!
